S.I.R. Practice Solutions, formerly MD Transcription and Billing, was founded by Sherist I. Rodriguez in 2003. 

Born in Bronx, New York.  By the age of 20, Sherist had received her Associates Degree in Legal Administration in Arizona.  After five years of working as a legal assistant/paralegal for litigation attorneys specializing in personal injury, civil, and criminal law, she accepted a position in the Medical Staff Services Department at CHW’s Saint Joseph Medical Center in Phoenix.  In 1999, Sherist was offered a position at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank and relocated.  Sherist spent the next six years in healthcare administration and was intensely involved in three Joint Commission / DHS / IMQ surveys.  As a liason between Administration and the Medical Staff, Sherist was very involved with the physicians day to day frustratons, she decided to focus her career in physician practice management.   

Sherist is a Certified Medical Billing Instructor and is currently preparing to sit for the Certified Professional Coder Exam.

Sherist and her staff are dedicated to giving their clients high quality services while remaining within State and Federal guidelines.

Sherist is a member of several associations and organizations.
